No app? Email us

Write to support@omallu.io from any email address with the subject Delete my account and the mobile number you signed up with. We may ask you to confirm the number is yours before we act. We reply within 24 hours.

What happens next

  • Right away: your account is closed. Other people can no longer see or call you, and we stop sending you notifications.
  • For 7 days: you can change your mind. Just sign in again with the same number and your account comes back as it was.
  • After 7 days: your account is permanently deleted, usually within a day after the 7 days end.
  • Partners: if you have unpaid earnings or a payout on its way, we pay you first and delete the account once it is settled.
  • Deletion can also wait while the account is part of a legal notice we have received, until that hold ends.

Want a copy of your data first? In the app, go to Profile → Privacy & safety → Download my data before you delete.

What we delete

  • Your mobile number, name, date of birth, gender and profile picture
  • Your chats
  • Followers, following, follow requests and blocks
  • Notifications, consent choices, sign-ins and linked devices
  • Any data download you requested
  • Partners: your bank account details and PAN (unless tax law needs the PAN, see below)
  • Unused coins. They are lost and cannot be refunded or cashed out.

We never record call audio or video, so there is none to delete.

What we keep, and why

  • Payment, coin and call records (amounts, dates and call length) for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They are linked only to an anonymous ID, not to your name or number.
  • Partners paid with TDS: your PAN and the name on it, stored encrypted, for the tax returns we must file.
  • Reported messages and report evidence: up to 180 days after the report is closed, as Indian IT rules require.
  • Safety records: reports, complaints and moderation actions involving the account, to deal with legal claims and keep others safe.
  • Banned accounts: a scrambled, one-way code made from the mobile number (and a partner’s PAN and bank account), only so the same person cannot sign up again.
